ADP is hiring a Lead Oracle ERP Financial Techno/Functional Analyst

In this role you will function in a senior level role gathering requirements, analysis, design and development efforts in the Oracle e-Business Suite (R12.2) space with a primary focus on solutions for Financial Applications processes (Accounts Receivables & Advance Collections preferable). You will be responsible for successful delivery of RICEW components (design, development and testing), and for enabling manual and automated testing for Oracle e-Business Suite application components. You will collaborate with business users and other team members (Developers, Functional Analysts, Testers and Production Support Analysts) to produce scalable, efficient and supportable solutions utilizing Oracle and related technologies. You will enhance, support and follow Software Development Lifecycle and AGILE Methodology. You will support fellow team members through development and architecture standard improvement/augmentation according to industry best practices. You will work collaboratively with other functional & technical project team members to ensure successful & timely project delivery. You will demonstrate the ability to work through and work around blocking events, and have demonstrated experience developing and implementing complex yet elegant and efficient solutions within time and budget.
To thrive in this role, you will need to be able to capture and understand client’s business requirements and specifies system, application or process designs. You will be involved in a bid process in mapping the client requirements to the base product functionality to present a product fit. You will be an overall contributor to deliver a fully functioning solution to the client. You will liaise with business analysts for the requirements, management for the estimations and high level planning, functional architects, technical architects, designers, developers, product team, and test teams for the solution implementation, during the entire phase of a project implementation.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Here’s what you can expect on a typical day:
- You’ll start each day with a scrum, working in a team to understand responsibilities, identify issues, and communicate coding priorities while choosing user stories to complete. You will also participate in other agile ceremonies, including scheduled sprint demos, where you will present your work to up to 90 stakeholders.
- Working in three-week sprints, you must keep up with timelines and coding standards. Most of your daily schedule will be software development, but you will also test your code before submitting it to QA for final testing. You won’t just focus on development in this role. You will also be responsible for testing and deployment.
- Continuous Learning. You will actively collaborate with other developers to share ideas or show what you’ve learned. You are eager to learn, keep up with ever-changing technologies, and maintain the ability to create the best tools for our clients.
- Support & Problem-Solving. You may work on products currently in use. If so, you might act as a point of contact for one day/week, supporting your clients for any urgent issues that require resolution. You’ll start those days with your regular work activity but will have to switch gears to a support role as needed throughout your assigned support day.
- You have a 7+ years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.
EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NEED:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- 3+ years of functional experience in Oracle EBS Suite implementation (especially Order to Cash processes)
- 5+ years of mandatory experience in programming using Oracle tools like PL/SQL, Form, Report, SQL Plus, SQL Loader, Workflow, XML Publisher and AOL Objects
- Experience in designing, creating and modifying Oracle Database Objects and Database Entities
- Nice to have about 4 years of experience in programming using Java and Oracle Applications Framework (OAF)
- Experience in test automation using UFT, LeanFT, Selenium tools or other open source tools is required
- Experience in Oracle Application Express and ORDS (Oracle Rest Data Service) is desirable
- Additional experience and skills in Oracle Applications Development Framework (ADF), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and WebADI are preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in scripting in Unix/Linux is a must
- Strong working knowledge of ERP technologies and Financials concepts, specifically highly complex global solutions involving multiple languages and multiple currencies
- Experience in Oracle EBS R12.2 is required
- Strong skills in SQL tuning and high volume data processing
- Functional knowledge in Oracle Financial Applications modules such as Accounts Receivables, Advanced Collections, Accounts Payables, AGIS and General Ledger (at least one module is mandatory)
- Ability to effectively communicate with others at all levels of the Company both verbally and in writing. Demonstrates a courteous, tactful and professional approach with employees and others
- Demonstrated ability to accurately establish the length and difficulty of tasks and projects, set reasonable objectives and goals, anticipate and adjust for problems/roadblocks and measure results against goals
- Ability to orchestrate multiple activities simultaneously
- Ability to coordinate the software development lifecycle processes with cost perspective
