What to Expect
As a Change Management & Project Close-out Lead, your primary responsibility is to oversee and manage the process of implementing organizational changes and ensuring the successful closure of projects. You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth transitions, minimizing disruptions, and maximizing the benefits of change initiatives. Additionally, you will be responsible for closing out projects, ensuring that all deliverables are met, and documenting lessons learned for future projects. What You’ll Do
Change Management:
- Leverage a change management methodology and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by Tesla Projects
- Identify stakeholders, assess their needs and concerns, and develop communication and engagement plans to address them
- Collaborate with project teams and senior management to ensure alignment and support for change initiatives
- Communicate project change progress, outcomes, and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Conduct impact assessments, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions during the change process
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of change initiatives, provide guidance, and support to project teams, and make adjustments as necessary
- Provide coaching and guidance to project teams and stakeholders on change management principles and practices
Project Close-out:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive project close-out plan, including the identification of all required deliverables and activities
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely completion of all project tasks and deliverables
- Conduct a thorough review of project documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Facilitate lessons learned sessions to capture and document project successes, challenges, and best practices
- Coordinate retention payments with multiple vendors and collaborate with Project Controls & Procurement teams for processing
- Develop and deliver final project reports and presentations to stakeholders and senior management
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in change management and project close-out activities
- Develop and implement training templates and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in change management and project management methodologies
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, construction management, project management, or a related field
- Certifications Preferred: PMP, Lean Six Sigma, EMP, ECM
- 7+ years of experience in project management, 3+ years in change management role preferred
- Proven experience in change management, project management, or a related role, with a focus on change management and project close-out
- Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
- Demonstrated ability of building and leading a team successfully
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
- Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
- Experience with CxAlloy, Procore, & other construction management software preferred
