The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing our cloud-based systems. This position requires a deep understanding of AWS, Linux Systems Administration, Ansible, NoSQL database, and RDMS databases. As a Cloud Architect, you will work closely with our engineering team to ensure our cloud systems are running efficiently, securely, and are scalable. Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Design, plan and integrate cloud computing and virtualization systems using AWS and other cloud services.
• Provide technical leadership in the utilization of cloud technologies, including Linux, Ansible, NoSQL, and RDMS databases.
• Develop and implement architectural standards and frameworks, allowing for the efficient and secure integration of cloud-based systems.
• Lead the assessment of current applications and infrastructure, provide recommendations for improvement, and execute migration or upgrade strategies as necessary.
• Ensure the security of the cloud infrastructure by implementing industry-standard security practices and by working with our security team to monitor and react to security incidents.
• Work with development teams to help engineer scalable, reliable, and resilient software running in the cloud.
• Develop automation strategies and deployment processes, encouraging innovation through automation and continuous deployment practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Cloud Architect role or similar position.
• Proven experience with AWS, Linux Systems Administration, Ansible, NoSQL database, and RDMS databases.
• Strong knowledge of cloud services, including compute, storage, and network domains in the context of AWS or other cloud providers.
• Experience with cloud security and compliance standards.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends.
• Proven ability to design, optimize, and integrate business processes across disparate systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent certification is a plus.
