SSSD has an opening for an NGP Program Integration Project Lead to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.
This candidate will be responsible for leading program level operations/integration projects. Nature and scope of the projects will vary over time. This individual should be interested in and capable of taking on a broad range of TBD leadership efforts. Sample projects may include planning and leading Capital/Indirect projects, reviewing all incoming program “support” issues and identifying/implementing efficiency projects to reduce ticket load and resolution time, leading program office proposal inputs and baselining, driving program metrics development for upcoming program phases, and reviewing program materials for technical messaging, consistency, and completeness.
This candidate should be able to work independently with little oversight and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high expectations. This individual must have experience developing and managing project plans (schedules, budgets) and understand the basics of budgetary planning (NRE/RE, Capital/Indirect/Direct). Candidate must be flexible and willing to work in a role without clear specific objectives (since they will be dependent upon changing program needs).
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a Business, Technical or related degree and with 10+ years of related professional experience in an operational role OR Master’s degree from an accredited university in a Business, Technical or related degree with 8+ years of related operational professional experience.
- Dynamic self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to function independently.
- Demonstrated flexible approach to work and the ability to work collaboratively on a team.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Windows-based MS Office tools, to include MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
- Candidate must have, and be able to maintain, an active TS/SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS degree in a Business, Technical or related degree.

Salary Range: $107,000 USD – $160,600 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
