Technician (NDT)

Job Responsibilities

• Set up, standardize and perform system check for non-destructive testing Method.
• Perform specific testing codes, standards and other contractual documents that are applicable to the Methods utilized.
• Interpret, evaluate for acceptance or rejection and document results.
• Actively work closely with NDT Engineer and participate in team.
• Observe all applicable safety requirements and the use of PPEs.
• Carry out other assigned duties as directed by the NDT Level 3.
• Follow safety regulations .
• Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

Requirements

• NITEC / Diploma in Engineering
• Ability to read mechanical engineering drawings
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form
• Open to work at height and confined space (course & training may be provided)
• Open to work night shift/weekend duty/holiday day, if required
• Ability to distinguish and differentiate colours used in various NDT processes, per EN4179/NAS410 requirement
• Possessing NAS410/EN4179 NDT Level 2 certification will be an advantage
• Relevant NDT experience in RT/PT/ET/MT/UT/IRT methods will be an advantage
