Job Responsibilities
- Set up, standardize and perform system check for non-destructive testing Method.
- Perform specific testing codes, standards and other contractual documents that are applicable to the Methods utilized.
- Interpret, evaluate for acceptance or rejection and document results.
- Actively work closely with NDT Engineer and participate in team.
- Observe all applicable safety requirements and the use of PPEs.
- Carry out other assigned duties as directed by the NDT Level 3.
- Follow safety regulations .
- Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
Requirements
- NITEC / Diploma in Engineering
- Ability to read mechanical engineering drawings
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form
- Open to work at height and confined space (course & training may be provided)
- Open to work night shift/weekend duty/holiday day, if required
- Ability to distinguish and differentiate colours used in various NDT processes, per EN4179/NAS410 requirement
- Possessing NAS410/EN4179 NDT Level 2 certification will be an advantage
- Relevant NDT experience in RT/PT/ET/MT/UT/IRT methods will be an advantage
