The Solution Engineer will be part of Comms SI team. The Solution Engineer will need to be able to understand and be familiar with solutions across various wireless communications technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Team member under Comms SI team
• Define communication system architecture for each project/program
• Perform planning and end-to-end system commissioning in factory/on-site
• Provide integration planning and testing plans for end-to-end system commissioning
• Participate & Support presales activities such as prospect enquiry and tender/RFQ/RFO
• Conduct proof of concept and trials
• Work closely across Business Units/Divisions to provide unique and cost-effective solutions
• Primary point of contact with customers to gather requirement and feedbacks
• Perform market survey to do analysis on market trends and needs

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ InfoCommunication Engineering or equivalent

Preferred Skills

• 2 years’ experience in integration, installation, and commissioning of communication systems such as SATCOM, Radios or LTE/5G preferred
• Knowledge in various wireless communications such as SATCOM/Radios/LTE/5G is an advantage
• Knowledge in IP networks
• Experience with usage of RF testing tools such as Spectrum Analyzer
• Experience with usage of network tools such as Wireshark, WAN Emulator
• Experience with configuration of network equipment such as Ethernet Switch, Router, Firewall, etc.
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision as well as a team player
• Meticulous and attention to details
• Knowledge of MS Office and MS Visio
• Good written, presentation and communication skills
