Areas of Responsibility
1. Lead the development of the NHG Strategic Development Roadmap for the Primary and Community Care Sector at the system level
- Conceptualise the long term strategy, principles and scope of NHG’s Primary Care Sector, and Community Care Sector’s Strategy Development roadmap to develop Capacity, Capability and Manpower for the long term population health needs of our residents.
- Conceptualise a needs analysis framework with ICN colleagues to understand the gaps of our population (pertaining to the primary and community care sector, and the three focus areas), and approach on how to address the gaps
- Develop the role of NHG Health System Development with other stakeholders, including the roles/interactions.
- Define the success for Health System Development by establishing process and outcomes indicators.
- Establish the governance and reporting structure for periodic strategic update to NHG senior management platforms.
2. Co-drive the development and implementation of NHG Health System Development plans
- Collaborate with stakeholders to jointly develop a 10-year road map.
- Engage various parties to align interests, socialise plans and gather requirements.
- Perform data collation and analysis relevant to the Primary and Community Care Sector Development.
- Support the director in maintaining oversight on budget approvals and management.
- Manage the procurement of external consultancy (if required) and their provision of services through ongoing review.
3. Exercise forward planning for NHG Health System Development
- Perform ongoing market scanning for trends and best practices that will aid the planning and implementation of the project
- Evaluate and revise the model and processes in response to feedback, insights and/or international benchmarks, to ensure continued effective and relevance.
- Monitor and review the implementation progress in terms of its meeting of objectives, timelines, and budget.
4. Undertaking any other tasks and duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Good bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Preferably with 7 years of relevant working experience in Healthcare and/or Social sector and/or Master Planning/ Strategic Plans/ Strategic Roadmaps.
- Having healthcare and social sector operations experience will be advantageous, especially in community based planning.
- Experience in delivering projects of similar nature across the full life cycle (i.e. project conceptualisation and strategic planning, policy and regulations navigation, data collection and analysis, stakeholder engagement, budget approvals and management, and project implementation).
- Must possess strong forward planning, strategic thinking, administrative and project coordination skills.
- Strong written, analytical and communication skills.
- Proficient in various computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Independent, self-motivated and result-oriented
- Resourceful and able to work in ambiguous situation with a can-do attitude.
- Attention to detail and able to multi-task and manage various project elements and timelines.
- Demonstrate ability in leading and nurturing a team.
