Broad Function
Supervise deployment and lead security officer teams, ensure compliance to security procedures and standards to provide a safe and secure environment for the visitors and staff members. Assist to manage daily ground and security control room operations.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Specific
- Assist the security operations manager and senior security supervisor in managing security teams on shift
- Supervise and direct security officers, conduct inspection and followup with stakeholders to ensure operational standards are met (e.g. Conduct team briefing and debrief, training / OJT to new security officers)
- Perform command and control functions in the Security Control Room supporting daily operations, incident response and post incident investigations
- Operate, manage and monitor security systems and alarms (eg: CCTV surveillance, video analytics, duress button, door/EACS alarms, carpark intercoms)
- Assist in manning of 24/7 security hotline
- Ensure proper handing over taking over between shifts, follow up and closure of occurrences during the shift
- Respond to emergency situations (eg: Fire evacuation, bomb threats, heighten security, Civil Emergency pandemic)
General
- Management of the lost and found counter and safekeeping of patients’ valuables
- Assist in code blue activation to facilitate movement in the premises
- Assist in contractors’ management
- Any other duties related to security operations of the premises
Job Requirement
Education / Training / Experience
- Possess a valid PLRD Security License with Security Supervisor (SS) grading and relevant PWM required module certificates.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in security operations and supervisory roles, with progression from Security Officer, Senior Security Officer and Supervisor, preferably in healthcare environment or service sector
- Experience working in Command Centre and operating security systems
- Certified in Occupational First Aid with CPR/AED (Preferred)
- Certified in WSQ Conduct Security Screening of Person and Bag (Preferred)

- Bilingual in English and one of the mother tongue (Mandarin/Malay/Tamil) languages
Others
- Able to perform shift work including weekends, public holidays and ad-hoc deployments when required
- Expected to return to premise in event of emergency activation (on call)
