Material Planning Specialist

Responsibilities

– Responsible for purchase of materials, entries into ERP and assist in production planning

– Responsible for making purchases of materials under company’s responsibility, to support RF products manufactured by company (typically high value electronics, long-lead time components and accessories)

– Periodic purchase of packaging materials, production consumables etc.

– Works closely with in-house Contract Manufacturer (CM) and CM’s Production Planner, to align purchase of materials under company’s responsibility

– Responsible to monitor stock inventory of materials and finished goods.

– Work with Production Manager to review finished goods forecast and material replenishment cycles

– To utilise company’s Material Requisition process, e-purchase requisition system, and completion of goods receipt process

Requirements

– Candidate must possess at least Higher secondary qualifications, or Pre-U/Diploma/Degree, preferably in a relevant electronics or engineering field

– Required Skill(s): Basic Computing Skills, use of MS Excel, use of SAP for inventory management

– Prior Experience: Preferably executive specialized in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent in an Electronics industry.
