Engineer- Detailed Design (Hull & Structures)

We are now actively searching for a self-motivated Hull Design Engineer who is willing to take up the challenge and be part of this exciting journey in designing and building the next generation of vessels.

This person  should preferably possess the following experience or skills in the following;

1. Minimum Degree in Naval Architecture / Marine Engineering from a recognized University, or equivalent
2. Be part of a team of engineers to carry out structural design and calculations
3. Technical experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and structural analysis, and able to do modeling and run simulations of the same.
4. Strong knowledge of international design codes, Classification and Statutory Rules and Regulations
5. High proficiency in 3D modeling skills using 3D CAD software will be an advantage.

Software Skills;

1. Autocad
2. ANSYS
3. Microsoft Office
4. Aveva Marine 3D – desired
5. Rhino 3D – desired

Roles and Responsibilities;

1. Finite Element Analysis
   1. Able to work independently utilizing ANSYS or FEMAP to carry out accurate modeling and analysis of vessel structures

2. Structural design and modeling
   1. Have a good fundamental knowledge of structural design and calculations in order to validate and streamline design
   2. Conceptualize ship and deck structure drawings and carry out calculations
   3. Able to do 3D modeling in Aveva Marine software will be an advantage

Other Information:
 

• Location: Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided)
• 5 days work week
• Working Hours: 7.25am-5pm
